Step 1
Ripening Process
If you want to ripen the mangoes faster:
paper bag with a banana or apple. These fruits release ethylene gas, speeding up ripening.
room temperature (70-75°F or 21-24°C), away from direct sunlight.
If you want to slow down ripening
cool, dry place, away from bananas and apples. single layer to prevent bruising.

Step 2
Storage Tips
Once ripe, refrigerate to extend freshness for up to 5-7 days.
Store in a breathable container or a perforated bag—avoid sealing them in plastic, as this can cause moisture buildup and spoilage.

Step 3
Handling & Care
Do not squeeze too hard when checking for ripeness to avoid bruising.
If the skin gets wrinkled, the mango is overripe but still edible. Use it for smoothies or desserts.
Cut and store leftover mangoes in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.
